About Dr. Sohrab Gollogly
Sohrab Gollogly, MD is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon with more than 20 years of experience in the surgical treatment of spinal disorders. His practice focuses on endoscopic, minimally invasive procedures of the lumbar and cervical spine, with an emphasis on motion preservation and avoiding unnecessary fusion surgery.
Dr. Gollogly completed his medical training at the University of Washington, followed by orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Utah. He pursued advanced fellowship training in adult spine surgery in Lyon, France, and pediatric spine surgery in San Diego, California.
He is a founding member of the EndoSpine Academy at Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich, Switzerland, where he participates in surgeon education, technique development, and the international advancement of endoscopic spine surgery. His academic work includes peer-reviewed publications on spinal alignment, biomechanics, and endoscopic surgical techniques.
Dr. Gollogly has practiced in Monterey, California since 2003 and maintains active hospital affiliations while operating an independent practice that allows for extended patient education, advanced techniques, and individualized care.
